AmerenCDC Presents $150,000 Grant to National Distribution Facility in Mexico, Missouri

The Ameren Community Development Corporation (AmerenCDC) presented a $150,000 grant on Jan. 31 to Soft Surroundings to help fund renovations at the company’s new national distribution facility in Mexico, Mo.
  
At a ribbon cutting for the company’s new facility are (from left) Mike Chell, Ameren business development executive; Robin Sheldon, president, Soft Surroundings; Tom Wilcher, CEO and chairman; and Mexico Mayor Virginia Robertson. Soft Surroundings is primarily a direct marketing catalog company specializing in women’s casual apparel, luxury bedding and home items, and state of the art skincare. The company has been operating in Mexico since 2002.
