Charles “Charlie” Dinan, trouble serviceman leader in AmerenUE’s Central Ozarks Division, received a “Heart of a Hero” award from the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, on March 10 . Dinan received the Emergency Responder Hero award for his work in restoring power after recent major storms—not only in mid-Missouri, but also on the Gulf Coast and elsewhere. He was one of 16 people honored at the luncheon in Jefferson City. AmerenUE was one of the two main sponsors of the event, and Manager of AmerenUE’s Government Relations, Matt Forck, also spoke on behalf of the company and its support for the work of the Red Cross.
