Lori Hoelscher, center, customer service advisor, AmerenUE Central Ozarks Division, presents 25 window unit air conditioners and energy conservation kits to Marylyn DeFeo, volunteer executive director of the Samaritan Center in Jefferson City, as Jerod Morris (in hard hat), temporary summer help, prepares to help unload the units at the Samaritan Center storeroom. The high-efficiency Energy StarŪ-listed units were provided under AmerenUE’s annual Be Cool program to help eligible low income and low income elderly customers stay cool this summer.
